Our story
It started in a WhatsApp group.
About 290 karting fans in Ireland, one organiser and a lot of polls: which Saturday, which track, who's actually in. It proved the point: loads of people want to race properly. They just need a grid.
GoKart Crew is that group chat, all grown up. The site does the counting, the chasing and the payments. You do the driving.

Why we built it
Wanting to race was never the problem.
Finding enough drivers was. Every karting plan used to die in the group chat: twelve thumbs up, five turn up, and the track wants eight for a group booking.
So the crew fills the grid together. Joining a race is free. When enough drivers are in, payments open, and once enough of them have paid, we book the circuit. If it falls through, anyone who paid gets it back in full.
It's invite-only on purpose. Everyone on a grid came in through someone who knows them, and that's what turns a grid of strangers into rivals who know your name.
Who's behind it
Run by the crew, for the crew.
The races are put on by organisers from the crew, and the drivers on every grid are its members. Nobody races with us without being invited by one of them. Want to put on races yourself? Become an organiser.
