Who you are dealing with

GoKart Crew is operated by Roadtrip Technologies Limited, registered with the Companies Registration Office (Ireland), no. 616164, registered office 142 Charlotte, Honey Park, Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, A96 HX8K, Ireland. By using the site or joining a race you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use GoKart Crew.

Membership is by invite

Anyone can browse the site. To join a race you need to be a member, which means being invited by a member or having your access request approved. You must be 18 or over, give accurate details, keep one account only, and not share your sign-in. We can refuse, suspend or end a membership that breaks these terms or makes the community worse for everyone else.

How a race works

1. You join the grid for a race and save a card. Nothing is charged at this point, and you can leave the grid freely.
2. When enough drivers have joined to meet the minimum for that race, we ask everyone to confirm their seat. You have 48 hours to confirm, and never longer than the race's own deadline. If you do not confirm in time you lose the seat and it goes to the next driver waiting.
3. When you confirm, we charge the card you saved, for the price shown on the race page. That price is what you pay us; it includes our margin on the circuit's group rate.
4. If the grid does not fill by the deadline, the race is cancelled and every payment is refunded in full, automatically.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are in euro. We are not a payment service: we never see your full card number.

Cancellations and refunds

• Before you confirm: leave the grid whenever you like, at no cost.
• If we cancel the race: you get a full refund without asking.
• After you confirm and pay: your seat is booked with the circuit, so we cannot refund it as a matter of course. Ask the organiser: if someone takes your place, or the organiser can still change the booking, they can refund you.
• Your cooling-off right: for leisure services supplied on a specific date, EU consumer law does not give a 14-day right of withdrawal. Booking a race is such a service, so the rules above are what applies.

On the day: the circuit is in charge

We organise the group. The racing is run by the circuit, on its own premises, under its own rules, insurance, safety briefing and age or height limits. You take part at your own risk and must follow the circuit's instructions. A circuit can refuse to let you drive, for example if you are late, unwell or under the influence. GoKart Crew does not supervise the racing and is not responsible for how a circuit runs its sessions.

Lifts and karma are between members

Lifts are arranged directly between members. We do not check anyone's licence, insurance or vehicle, and we are not a transport provider or a party to the arrangement. Karma, avatar items, kits and leaderboard positions are features of the site: they have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, cannot be transferred, and we can change or reset them.

How to behave

Be decent: no harassment, no discrimination, no dangerous driving, no fake results or lap times, no scraping, no attempt to break the site, and no using another member's account. Do not upload anything you do not have the rights to. We can remove content and end memberships when this is ignored.

Circuit pages

Circuit information comes from the circuit's own website and from open data, with the source shown on the page. It can be out of date, and it is not a booking offer from the circuit. A circuit can claim its page and correct it. Track drawings are simplified and may not match the layout on the day.

Liability

We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Irish law, and nothing here affects your rights as a consumer. Otherwise, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us for the race in question, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. The site is provided as it is: we work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted.

Changes, law and contact

We can change these terms; the date at the top shows when we last did, and we will tell members by email when a change matters. Irish law applies, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. Questions: hello@gokartcrew.com. See also our privacy policy and the upcoming races.
